“How can art and architecture help us reimagine spaces for diplomacy—spaces that are inclusive, that bring new solutions, and change social frameworks for our sustainable future?”
In designing Palais des Nations, a photo book by François Vermot, we set out to reflect the understated atmosphere of the United Nations’ European headquarters in Geneva. Inspired by the building’s 1950s aesthetic, we chose a typewriter-style typeface and soft grey papers to echo the administrative tone and timeless formality of the space.
Published by Les Éditions du Centre de la Photographie Genève and printed by Musumeci Atelier, the book becomes a quiet reflection on diplomacy, architecture, and the traces of human presence within institutional power.
